Illustrious Gyms Book in the News

As someone who’s in the press, it’s a little weird being “in the news.” We are of course taught never to make yourself part of the story. In the book I tried to limit the number of times I used the word “I” and the idea of ranking the gyms on my personal feelings was never an option.

That being said, I’ve come to realize what I did to create this book is almost as interesting as the gyms themselves. And I actually get asked, “what was the journey like?”, almost as much as I get asked “what’s the best gym?”

So, for those interested in the journey too, here’s all the interviews, news clippings, and press appearances I’ve done since I started making a book about the best high school gyms in Illinois. Enjoy.
